Vintage style aprons for all!!

Hi everyone, I’m Cyd from The Antipodean Artisan.  I have decided to make cute vintage aprons for all of my girlfriends this year.  Last year my Christmas fund was spent on a Washer/Dryer machine after mine broke, so this year I thought all my girls deserved something special.

I have 3 different patterns I am going to use.

And so far have completed one.

And I have chosen all my fabric combinations for the rest.

So now I need to cut out the patterns and muster the time and energy to make them all.
Wish me luck.

  8. I must know: where did that cupcake fabric come from? I've been looking for something just like that for my daughter, but can't find it anywhere!

In my own musings, I came across this great link to a bunch of free apron patterns and tuts from tipnut.com. lots of great ideas!

  10. Thanks so much everyone. I will keep you updated on the progress. Sarah - The Buttons and Bows pattern was a free download from PrintSew, and Amanda, the cupcake fabric was from my local fabric shop. Bookette, thanks for the link. How fabulous. You have all put a big smile on my face. Thanks.
