Crafting for Christmas Cooks

This is an apron I've put together for my lovely mum. The heart and the pocket details were made from scraps in my stash. The strawberry print main fabric and ribbon was bought off Ebay from Favourite Fabrics. I used this tutorial. There really is nothing more to say, other than - go for it! Choosing combinations of fabric and embellishments is really satisfying and one size fits all. I'm going to have to make another one for myself. This cost me £9 to put together, with lots of ribbon left over and some scraps that are calling out to be turned into a quilting project. Result! Cath Kidston aprons come in at exactly twice that, and they don't have pretty little hearts.

You can see my other makes at my blog, Didyoumakethat.
