Karen’s snood taking the blogging world by storm has made me rethink my original handmade Christmas plans posted here many moons ago.
Although I’m very new to knitting, I gave this free pattern a go and loved the result!

So now, I’m going to be making less lavender bags and more snoods as gifts…one down, approximately three more to go! I never thought I’d be good enough to knit gifts this year, but the pattern really is simple. More information and pictures can be found here on my blog.
Also, I’m still undecided on the exact edible gifts I’ll be making. I’m still liking the Peanut Butter Fudge idea, but the decision seems to have become harder since stumbling across Martha Stewart’s Christmas Candy Recipes…sigh!
Oh, and I haven’t started sewing the boyfriend’s Negroni yet! I’m really worried that despite all good intentions, I’m running out of time again this year. It’s very inspiring to see how you are all getting on though - your progress and charming ideas are spurring me on!
Yay! Make more snoods! You'll never believe it - I bumped into Pincushion Treats last night when we were both ... WEARING OUR SNOODS!
ReplyDeleteKaren, I've already made a second and I'm working on a third in moss stitch...yay! I love that you bumped into Mela and you were both wearing your snoods...cool chicks ;o)
